Tracking the Law is run by Dr Jacqueline Meredith. Each month there will be a new post on a fascinating legal case involving a railway-related incident.
Jacqueline is a railway enthusiast based in Melbourne, Australia. She is a Lecturer in Law at Swinburne University of Technology and completed her PhD in Law at Melbourne Law School, University of Melbourne. She also holds a Bachelor of Civil Law (Distinction) from the University of Oxford (LLM equivalent) and a Bachelor of Laws (First Class Honours and University Medal in Law) from the University of Newcastle (AU). Jacqueline primarily teaches and researches in the areas of Employment Law, Work Health and Safety Law, and Tort Law. She has previously worked as a Judge’s Associate in the Supreme Court of Victoria.
Jacqueline also maintains a personal travel blog where she writes about some of the world’s best railway journeys that she has taken.
